Off Roading/Rally Empty Off Roading/Rally

Well not everyone likes to take and drive on the street, So the TGA has expanded off into playing off road in the dirt. From playing in the desert to driving along trails Top Gear now likes to take and get dirty

Now unlike the typical rally and Tuff Truck competitions where it's 1 vehicle out and about on the course or leaving at timed intervals, The TGA has found some prime spots for both styles of racing. Like standard racing every single car or truck has it's own set of dice which go like this:

2 Sided Dice
Acceleration,Braking,Handling, Rebound

Now we'll explain how the dice works. Now clearly a lowered sport truck or slammed car isn't going to do that well on these old logging roads and set courses. like with the other forms of racing as you progress you tune the vehicle to handle the rigors of the sport.

Now Acceleration, self explanatory, it dicates how quick your car can come out off the line or out of a turn, Weight, tires, and engine setup are the prime factors.

Braking: Again, Fairly simple concept. the better brakes you have, the better you can stop so upgrading your brake system can really help.

Next up is Handling: Again like the other race styles, handling is about how well your vehicle can turn. Tires, and various suspension modifcations can dicate your vehicles abilities. As mentioned before, riding in a lowered car with some exotic body kit or an airbagged truck don't expect your offroad handling to be high. So lift kits can help. as do tires for the surface you'll be driving on.

Rebound: Now we've come to the fun part. Rebound is what the vehicles suspension does when the vehicle is about to jump, and more importantly when it's landing. now the higher your suspension dice the better off the vehicle will do when landing. again a lowered car or truck will do so bad here it is totally possible to take and DESTROY the cars frame. so again setting your vehicle up to handle landings is key. Unlike lowering the car for balance on the track you want the car to be up enough when you slam down, you don't fuck anything up seriously.
