Race Positioning and Hazarding Empty Race Positioning and Hazarding

In this next section we'll cover Race positioning and hazards. which are two of the biggest pain in the butts in the SL and basically what holds up races because people aren't very sure on what's going on. So for them this section is for you. Is an example of a race that's going on.

Brian-Dom-Roman

As you can see we have three people racing in the example. Brian is in the lead, Dom is in 2nd and roman is third. The - indicates a car length.

Now how do you decide who goes where.. well that's pretty easy.

Now lets say brian, dom and roman rolled their dice

Brian got a 16
Dom got a 8
Roman got 40

The positioning changes a bit it would look like

Brian—Dom/Roman tied

because Brian had a higher roll then dom Brian moves up one car length while roman also rolled higher then dom moves up to tie with dom. Now if on the next roll dom out rolls roman then he goes back to being a car length ahead. Same goes for if roman out rolls dom. He moves up one car length. Brian rolls but his number is lower then roman so..it goes like this.

Brian-Roman-Dom

Now there are very rare times in the SL when people get the exact same number. in those cases there is no position change.
